July Meeting Minutes

​LYONS TWP REG. MEETING
July 6, 2020
The meeting was called to order with the Pledge to the Flag.  There were 3 citizens and 5 board members present.
Minutes to the meeting were presented for review.  A motion to accept the minutes with the addition of $5056 for a total of $14,111.11 in General Fund and $500 for a total in Building Fund and change the spelling of Yerge was made by R. Scheurer and supported by T. Thelen.  Motion carried.
Correspondence: none
Cemetery:  Wickham’s are still working on fixing the foundations.
Public comment: none
Treasurer’s report:  A motion to accept the treasurer’s report as presented was made by R. Scheurer and supported by T. Thelen.  Motion carried.
Bills in the amount of $51,206.30 to the general fund and $1,121.44 to the building fund were presented for payment.  A motion to pay the bills was made by T. Thelen and supported by R. Scheurer.  Motion carried.
TWP Business: A motion to approve the Election Board submitted by J. Heckman was made by R. Scheurer and supported by T. Thelen.
A motion to accept the 2020-2021 Portland Ambulance contract for $21,528.00 was made by R. Scheurer and supported by T. Thelen.
I’M SAFE sent a card of thanks for our contribution we made.
Fire Chief Michael Yerge reported that the dry hydrant on Nickleplate Rd is all put in.  They will test it soon to see how it works.
Building:  Everything is going well for Riverbank Treasures. 
A motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:25 was made by R. Scheurer and supported by J. Thelen. Motion carried.
